It has been 10 years since I graduated college and started the homestead, 12 years since Stella, my first quail, was given to me. It’s been a wonderful 12 years of Coturnix quail raising and learning through research, trial, and error.

Back in 2013, I wrote Coturnix Revolution and it was a great book for the intermediate quail fancier, however an element was missing from the textbook of Coturnix research; the beginner element was missing. Although, the first book was a success and I am sure it has helped many, I would like to share the prequel. From transparent personal experience and my research with Coturnix quail, I have added the beginner homesteader to the the wonderful world of Coturnix Quail. I introduce you to the prequel of Coturnix Revolution: The Quail Lady’s Guide to Raising Coturnix on the Homestead.

The Quail Lady’s Guide to Raising Coturnix on the Homestead is the perfect book for the beginner quail fancier but a good refresher for the intermediate and expert. This is an interactive guide, with charts and my 10 secrets to quail success! I have incorporated my personal experience and also scientific information to help you with your quail raising.

Learn about my 10 secrets, why Coturnix are a great alternative to chickens, obtaining quail, incubating and hatching, brooding, growing out and raising adult quail, along with basic nutrition and genetics, see many of the beautiful varieties of Coturnix, learn about the meat and egg components, and so much more! This book is in full color with photographs from the homestead and illustrations by Brandi Crunk, owner of Evermore Ranch and our sister/partner farm. She has done a wonderful job painting a picture to bring this book to life.

This new book is meant for the homesteader to understand that quail are in fact the future. #QuailAreTheFuture
